Brick slips feature wall

Being a former convent in Waterlooville, Hampshire, that had been converted into residential use, this project needed a careful and sensitive approach. The owner was keen to bring a greater sense of the character of the building into their home by including a feature wall with exposed brickwork. We used a brick style picked to closely match the exterior and we also adopted several laying and styling patterns including the chevron pattern to reflect historical architectural design features on the exterior. This approach highlights the character arched window and adds warmth to the room as well and brings a greater sense of the history and architecture of the building into the home.
